Brian Lyons

Brian Lyons, 54, of Carmel passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 in Dover, New Jersey following a long illness.  Most recently of Carmel, New York he previously resided in Lagrangeville and Yonkers, New York and was a former longtime resident of Ossining, New York.  He is predeceased by his parents, Catherine and Michael H. Lyons and is survived by six brothers and sisters:

Michael Lyons of Yorktown Heights, NY (Jill)

Chris Lyons of Fremont, CA (Sharon)

Kevin Lyons of Stamford, CT (Rose)

Marie Ernye of Fairfield, Ct (Richard)

Eileen Lepore of Haverton, PA (John)

As well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Brian graduated from Ossining High School.  It is with great sadness we say goodbye to our brother Brian.  While challenged by serious illness beginning at a young age, Brian did not allow his obstacles to define him.  He was passionate in his love for his family and friends (especially his twin sister Marie), a lover of fine (or even pretty good) food, classic rock, the New York Jets and considered by all who knew him to be the New York Yankees #1 Fan!

Family and friends are invited to Holy Name of Jesus Church on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM for a mas of Christian Burial celebrated in Brian's honor.  Interment will follow in his family plot at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York.
