Cynthia (Gould) Clarendon

Cynthia Gould Clarendon of New York, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 in Garland, Texas. She was 83. She graduated from Garrison Forest School in Maryland and in her yearbook said she wanted to be a 20th century Clara Barton, which she accomplished a couple years later. She also had a passion for her Golden Retrievers that she showed quite successfully. Cynthia will best be remembered for her wit, mischievous stories and her love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, William S. Gould Jr. and Mrs. Duane R. Stoneleigh, both of New York. She is survived by her brother, William S. Gould III and her four daughters, Wendye Clarendon, Anne O’Loughlin, Darcy Tickle and Leigh Uttich along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.

 Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11:00 AM in the West Chapel of Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, 575 Columbus Avenue Thornwood, New York with a graveside service at Kensico Cemetery following.
