Joann Giuliano of New Rochelle, New York and Lake Worth, Florida passed away surrounded by her loving and dedicated family on Sunday, October 15, 2017.  She battled C.O.P.D for 3 years and being the strong and independent woman that she was fought until the very end.  She was born and raised in High Point, North Carolina where she met her loving husband Joe of 63 years while he was in the airborne.  Together they raised four children, Carol, Joseph (who passed away in 2015), Larry (Tanya), and Thomas (who passed away in 1992).  She was the cherished grandmother of Joe (Antoinette), Michael and Angela (Kevin).  She was also blessed with four great grandchildren Olivia and Thomas (Joe and Antoinette's children) and Kelly and Scott (Angela and Kevin's children).  She was the kindest, sweetest most generous wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend that anyone could ask for.  She was loved by everyone and will be forever in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue Thornwood, New York 10594 on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Joann at Holy Rosary Church on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM.  Interment in her family plot will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York.
