Ronnie Crecco

Ronnie Crecco passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Greenwich Hospital in his 81st year.  He was born in Italy on April 8, 1937 to Umberto and Onoria Crecco (nee Fallone).  He was the beloved husband of Rose Crecco whom he married on September 4, 1955 and had three beautiful children, Anthony Crecco, Joanne Ricciardella (Teo) and Teresa Franzoni (Enzo).  He was the cherished grandfather of Larissa, Ronnie, and Declan Crecco, Teddy Ricciardella (Rita), Roberto and Daniele Ricciardella, Manuela and Rosa Franzoni.  He was also blessed to be the great grandfather of Mariella.  Professionally, Ronnie was a well respected and gifted builder in the Bronx, Westchester and Putnam counties.  His enjoyment was being on an excavator or backhoe breaking ground for one of his new homes.  His love and enormous generosity for his family was the highlight of his life.  Until the very end all he cared about was giving, loving and helping others.  He was a true gem and will be immensely missed.  

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue Thornwood, New York 10594 on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 2:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Ronnie at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM.  Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, New York.
