Adolfo “Al” Tosi was born on May 10, 1941, in Monsagrati, Lucca, Italy. He’s the son of Raffaello and Ersilia Tosi. He moved to the United States as a young boy. Al attended Monroe High School in the Bronx, New York. He married Patricia Delmonico on September 1, 1963. Together they had five children. He worked as a jeweler before starting his own painting business. Al loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing and would often be seen kayaking on the Long Island Sound. Al cherished visiting his childhood home and spending time with his Italian family. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends.
He is survived by his four daughters: Janice Tosi, Jeanmarie Tosi-Campisi (Paul), Jennifer Tosi-Ramirez (Nelson), and Christine Tosi-Ramos (Sigfredo), and his three grandchildren, Christopher Joseph, Nicholas Matthew, and Olivia Rose. He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia, and his son, Robert. He has touched many people in his life. Al was loved by his family and friends and will truly be missed. We will always keep his memory alive in our hearts
Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Al at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Al will be laid to rest at The Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York following the funeral mass in Hillcrest Garden - Section F.
