Anne Marie (Lanzone) Contento

Anne Marie Contento passed away peacefully on December 20, 2024 at the age of 86. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her smile lit up a room with warmth and love.  She is survived by her three children, two sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her beloved husband Al and son Michael greeted her into heaven along with her mother Ann, father Mike and sister Susan.  Her love of family and friends was always her top priority. She always made everyone feel welcomed, whether she knew you for a long time or was meeting you for the first time. Anne Marie always had kind words and a warm smile for everyone.  Her career as a payroll secretary in the NYC Board of Education brought her much pride. She cherished the lifelong friends she made over the years. Anne Marie had a wonderful full life. The memories we all shared will be treasured forever.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 2:00 - 7:00 PM for visitation and on Monday, December 23, 2024 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Anne Marie at St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff Manor on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11:30 AM.
