Arlene (Lassaw) Corcione

Arlene Corcione (nee Lassaw) of Valhalla passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 15, 2023 in her 76th year.  Arlene was born in New York City on September 19, 1946 to Alexander Lassaw and Yolan Obertz Lassaw. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Al Corcione , her sister Paula Griffiths,  and her twin brother Alan Lassaw. She is survived by her loving daughters Julie Ganassini, Autumn Lopez, and Tara Austin  and her husband Rich. The “lights of her life” , ten cherished grandchildren,  Evan, Cassi (Shawn), Alexandria (Ryan) Nicolette, Adam, Olivia, Max, Madison, Dylan and Logan and three great granddaughters - Andie, Blake and Audrey. Arlene also leaves behind her brother Gene Griffiths (Patti)of Stamford, CT, her sisters-in-law, Gloria Aloia of Allentown, PA, Gilbert Corcione of Eastchester, NY and Yvonne Viebrock from Marietta, GA. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Arlene had a zest for life and family. She loved to gather at the home of her daughters for Sunday dinner.  She loved to play cards and took it very seriously.

She will always be remembered for her fiery spirit and unparalleled honesty.

Family and friends are invited to The Church of the Transfiguration 268 South Broadway - Tarrytown, New York 10591 on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 10:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial.  After the funeral mass Arlene will be laid to rest in her family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Yonkers, New York.
