Brandon Michael Close, 38, passed away peacefully on December 10th, surrounded by his family.
Brandon lived his life fully and fearlessly, with determination to follow his own path. He had a spontaneous personality, a willingness to embrace the moment, and a heart that felt things deeply. Brandon was an existential thinker; often exploring life with curiosity and a profound desire to find meaning. Those who knew Brandon would describe him as a fighter and a survivor; finding strength and hope in the small moments.
Brandon found peace and purpose in the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, and he cherished the quiet connection those moments gave him. He also had a natural instinct to care for animals; often quick to help or comfort animals in need. These passions reflected the gentler parts of his spirit, the ones that showed his compassion and grounding despite life’s challenges.
Brandon is survived by his children, partner, family, friends and beloved dogs.
A celebration of life will be held on December 28th 2025 from 12pm-3pm at Espo’s Catering, located at 365 Somerville Ave in Tonawanda, NY.
