Elizabeth (Ezzone) Bassi

Elizabeth (Liz) Bassi of Hawthorne passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 in Mount Kisco, New York in her 67th year.  

Always the life of the party with her larger-than-life personality. She enjoyed listening to her music by the pool always with a glass of Pinot Grigio in hand with all the people she loved. She could make friends with anyone and could be heard in every room. Jenna & Daniel were her absolute favorite people to celebrate life with, no matter the reason, over a delicious sushi dinner. Liz was a beloved sister and lifelong friend to LouAnn & Sal, you would rarely see one without the other. She was also affectionately known as, “Auntie,” by all her nieces, nephews & close loved ones who she absolutely adored and would do anything for. Liz was predeceased by her husband, George Bassi, and nephew, Michael Buffamante. She is survived by her devoted sister, LouAnn Buffamante, and brother-in-law, Sal Buffamante, her adored children, Jenna & Daniel Bassi, along with her treasured nieces & nephews, Robert (Lauren, Cole, Carly) and Joseph (Danielle, Christopher, Ava). 

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM for visitation.  Elizabeth will be laid to rest in her niche at The Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York.
