Frances Bufo (Greco), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, at the age of 100, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Ossining, New York. Born on August 27, 1924, in Pleasantville, New York, Frances was the youngest of ten children born to Frances and Angelo Greco. She attended Pleasantville High School and went on to have an 18-year career at Reader’s Digest. Upon retiring, she moved to Florida for several years before returning to Pleasantville. In September of 2019, she moved to Cedar Manor,
where she resided until her passing. Frances had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome. She was known for her hospitality, often inviting neighbors and friends to enjoy her famous squash cakes. She also loved knitting and very much looked forward to her trips to Atlantic City. Her family was her greatest joy. Frances leaves behind a legacy of love and wisdom through her children: Louis (Linda) and Richard (Martina); her grandchildren: Deanna (Scott), Tara (Chris), and Fara (Chris); and her great-grandchildren: Samantha, Nicholas, Christopher, Lola, Olivia, Sophia, and Edmund. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Louis, and her nine siblings.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 2:00 - 7:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Frances at Holy Innocent's Church in Pleasantville on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
