Francis Xavier Kelly
June 9, 1958 ~ May 3, 2026 (age 67)
With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Francis Xavier Kelly (Frank/Frankie), 67, of Bronxville, NY, and Estero, FL, on May 3, 2026. Born on June 9, 1958, in the Bronx, NY, and raised in West Haverstraw, NY, Frank was the beloved son of the late Francis and Gladys A. Kelly (nee Lynch) and loving husband of the late Mary-Lee Kelly (nee King). He is survived by his two precious sons, Francis E. Kelly and William F. Kelly. He is also survived by his sisters, Lori K. Kelly, Dianna M. Naghizadeh (Ali), and Jayne T. Rissmeyer (nee Kelly), his brother, James J. Kelly (Jenny), and his fiancée, Judith Palacios, along with cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, and grandnieces.
Frank enjoyed life and was a beloved fiancé, wonderful brother, great friend, successful entrepreneur, devoted basketball coach, and an admired mentor whose warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to others left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Above all else, Frank was a family man. He poured his heart into parenthood, and the character of his sons stands as Mary-Lee and Frank's greatest legacy.
Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc., 575 Columbus Avenue, Thornwood, NY, on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Two Broadway, Valhalla, NY, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Frank will be laid to rest alongside his late wife at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY, following the funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made in Frank's memory to a cause he was passionate about, Breakthrough T1D (formerly Juvenile Diabetes):
