Guy Pontillo

 Guy Pontillo passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 in Wilton, Connecticut in his 95th year.  Guy was born in Brooklyn to proud parents Giovanni and Angelina Pontillo (nee Pastore) on August 14, 1929. He met his adoring wife, Dorothy while on vacation in Catskill NY. They were married on September 20, 1952 and enjoyed a beautiful 70 year love affair until her passing in 2023.  Professionally, Guy was a well respected and talented accountant. Together Guy and Dorothy raised three loving daughters Donna, Angela, and Joanne in a house filled with love, laughter, friends and family.  He is survived by daughters Donna and husband Tony, Angela and partner Gary, Joanne and husband Luciano; seven grandchildren: Amy and husband Ben, Jessica and husband Kevin, Anthony, Nicholas and fiancée Chelsey, Christiana, Brandon, Justin; and a great granddaughter, Skylar. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Theresa and several nieces and nephews.  He will be forever missed. 

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 8:30 - 10:30 AM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Guy at Holy Innocent's Church in Pleasantville on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM.  Guy will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife Dorothy who predeceased him on June 20, 2023 in their family plot at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York.
