Helena Jane (Flanagan) Chitty

Helena Jane Chitty aka "Jane" was born in the Bronx and raised on City Island.  She attended St. Mary Star of the Sea elementary school, Preston High School, Good Counsel College and Pace University.  She was the widow of Reginald R. Chitty (d. 2006).  Jane's entire career was in education from elementary through high school levels in teaching and administration.  Her most recent years were with the Mahopac and White Plains school districts.  Jane is survived by a sister, Anne Morales, niece Karen Morales and fiancee, Christopher Stelzl, sister - in - law, Susan Chitty, brother - in - law, Donald Chitty as well as many cousins.

Helena will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.  A memorial mass will be celebrated for Jane at a later date at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in White Plains, New York.
