Henry Joseph Cerbone

Henry Joseph Cerbone of Yonkers passed away in New York City on Friday, March 17, 2023 in his 70th year.  Henry was the beloved husband of Bonnie for 47 wonderful years.  He was the devoted father of Jason (Beth) Cerbone and Matthew (Danielle) Cerbone.  Henry was the cherished grandfather of Nicholas (14), Hailey (11) and Eliana (1).  Professionally, Henry was a retired Mount Vernon police officer and successful business owner.  He was born in the Bronx, New York to Henry and Italia Cerbone.  He is also survived by his siblings Lana Fahey and Angela Salvato.  Henry had many hobbies but his most important and cherished was spending time with his loving family.  Not only did Henry call Yonkers his home but his second home away from home and favorite getaway with his family was Lavallette, New Jersey, a place where countless memories and love was shared.  

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue Thornwood, New York 10594 on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Henry at St. Eugene's Church in Yonkers on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM.  Committal services will be private at The Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York.
