Joseph J. Conti of Hawthorne passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in his 69th year.

With heavy hearts, the family of Joseph Conti announces his sudden passing. Joseph left this world far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, craftsmanship, and strength.

Joseph lived a life defined by hard work and creativity. A true craftsman and visionary, he was a mechanic, an artist, a guitar enthusiast/collector, a graphic designer, a screen printer, and a sign builder — a jack of all trades and a master of many. For 43 years, he proudly ran Con-Tees Custom Printing alongside his brother Michael, building not just a business, but a lifelong testament to dedication, skill, and family.

Though he carried a tough exterior, those who knew Joseph well understood the warmth beneath it — a kind, generous, and loyal man who was always ready to help others whoever he could.

Above all else, Joseph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. His family was the center of his world and his greatest joy.

The beloved son of the late Aldo and Lena Conti, Joseph leaves behind his cherished wife, Teresa Conti (Rotunno) — his partner in every sense of life, and the love of his heart. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Conti, his loving children Joseph Jr. (Lindsey) Conti and Christina (Dean) Kringas, and his adoring grandchildren Dean Jr., Joseph III, Nico, and Kayleigh. His sister-in-law, Lisa Rotunno, and her late husband, Anthony Rotunno, along with her children, his nieces and nephews, and many dear friends — each of whom brought him immeasurable happiness and a lifetime of adventures.

Joseph’s legacy will live on in the countless people he touched through his kindness, his humor, and his craft. His laughter, wisdom, and hardworking spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved him.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Joseph at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at (time to be announced).  Joe will be laid to rest in his family crypt at Gate of Heaven Cemetery following the funeral mass.
