Joseph Rocco Troiano

With heavy sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph Rocco Troiano, a beloved and devoted son, father, brother and friend to so many. Joe passed away surrounded by his family and dearest friends on January 12, 2025.

Joe was born on September 21,1958 in White Plains, New York and grew up in West Harrison. He worked most of his life at T&T Deli alongside his father, brothers, aunt and cousins. After selling his deli, Joe then started his second career with the Town of Harrison as a Heavy Machine Equipment Operator for over 20 years.

Joe is predeceased by his parents, Gaetano and Anna Troiano and his brother Rocco and sister-in-law Jacqueline. Joe is survived by his loving sons Joseph (Christine) Troiano and Lance Troiano, his brother Nicholas (Ro) Troiano and his many nieces and nephews.

A lover of the mountains, Joe was an avid skier who looked forward to winters in Vermont skiing with his cousins and best friends. When the weather turned warmer, you could find Joe hiking, kayaking, camping and relaxing poolside with his family. But what Joe enjoyed most was spending quality time with his large extended family which included many lifelong friends.

His dedication to his family and profound love will forever be cherished and remembered.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Joseph at St. Anthony of Padua in West Harrison on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM.  Joseph will be laid to rest in his family plot at the Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla following the funeral mass.
