Landa (Pettinella) Giuliani

Landa Giuliani, beloved wife, mother, aunt, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2025 at the age of 93 just shy of her 94th birthday.

She was born in Ripi, Italy on July 30th, 1931 to Pasquale and Diomira Pettinella. Landa immigrated to the Bronx, New York at the age of 16, courageously beginning a new life in a new country alongside her two sisters Marisa and Franca. It was here that she would meet and marry the love of her life, beloved Antonio Giuliani. Together, they built a beautiful life and family, in Port Chester, New York, raising four children: Anthony (Rosann Song) Giuliani, Joanne (Andrew Giuliano) Giuliani, Margherita (Chris) Fiscella, and Robert (Maria) Giuliani.

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to her and she cherished every moment with them: Kristy (James, Dominick, Michael) Paolucci, Joseph Suppa, Michael (Kelly, Dominick, Antonio) Fiscella, Vincent (Kristy, Natalia, Christopher, Joseph) Fiscella, Lauren Fiscella, Christina (Harry, James) Liveris, and Alexa, Gregory and Ava Giuliani.

Landa will be remembered for her strong personality, warm heart, quick wit, boundless kindness and resilience. She had a special way of making everyone feel at home, and her sense of humor brought light to all who knew her. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the comforting aromas of her Italian cooking and culture.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Landa at The Church of the Resurrection 910 Boston Post Road - Rye, New York 10580 on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM, Msgr. Donald M. Dwyer will officiate.  Landa will be entombed with her beloved husband Antonio who predeceased her in June of 2010.
