Louis LaGrippo

Louis LaGrippo passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, July 25, 2022 in his 60th year. Louis was born on May 31st, 1962 in The Bronx, New York. He was a devoted son to
 Frank and Janet, which he is now reunited with. 
Louis is survived by his brothers; Joseph (Rosa), Steven, Frank (Patricia), as well as his beloved nieces and nephews; Jennifer, Stephanie (Robert), Frankie, Jason, Victoria, Sofia, and Leanna. 
Louis was born and raised in the Morris Park section of The Bronx. He was well known for his thoughtful gestures, lighthearted nature and comedic relief. He held many titles in his life; son, brother,  nephew. cousin, uncle, friend, and neighbor. A devoted family man, his love and commitment to them came first. He opened his heart and lent a hand to anyone without reservation. 
He was a well respected mason in the Local #7 marble union in a career that spanned decades.
A man of simple pleasures, he enjoyed family dinners (mostly dessert), animals (namely his late and beloved dog Fleegal and his sweet rescue cat, Roxy), walks around the neighborhood, incessant jokes and laughter. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue Thornwood, New York 10594 on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Louis at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM.  Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York.
