Luz “Lucy” Maria DeJesus
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Lucy DeJesus on January 18, 2021 in her 81 st year. A
loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all whose lives she
touched.
Lucy will forever be remembered for her big, caring heart. She was a living angel while here on Earth and
she will continue to be our angel looking down on us from Heaven.
She is survived by her husband, Victor Santana, her four children and their spouses, Glenn and Vivian,
Joe, Larry and Maribel and Vicky and Anibal. She was a loving Grandmother to her six Grandchildren,
Rachel, Larry II, Justin, Eric, Jasmine and Jonathan. She was most honored to hold the title of Great-
Grandmother (Mema) to Quentin, Aubrielle, Evan, Noah, and Logan. Lucy is also survived by countless
nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, that in true Lucy fashion, she considered family.
II Corinthians 5:8 - God says when we are absent from the body we are present with the Lord.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue Thornwood, New York 10594 on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation.  Lucy will be laid to rest in St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx, New York on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
