Margaret M. Olsen

Margaret M. Olsen of Briarcliff Manor, New York (Archville) died on July 8, 2024. Margaret was born on March 22, 1940 to Herbert C. and May M. Schultz Olsen in Ossining, New York. Margaret was a graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School. She worked for Burnham Corporation for 30 years. She was an Executive Secretary to the President and Chairman of the Board. When the company moved to Lancaster, PA in 1990 she retired from the company. She then worked at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery as secretary for over 24 years. Margaret was a long-time commissioner with the Scarborough Fire District (Archville FD). She had one brother, Carl H. Olsen, who predeceased her. She is survived by three nieces, Carolyn Olsen, Debra (John) Marfia and Amy (Leonard) Roman, two great nephews, Jesse and Jake Roman.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Margaret at St. Theresa's Church in Briarcliff Manor on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM.  Margaret will be laid to rest after the funeral mass at Sleepy Hollow Cemtery.
