Maria (Sarubbi) Cosentino 95, of Armonk formerly of Pleasantville NY died Sunday Sept 8 2024 at Northern Westchester Hospital
She is predeceased by her husband Domenico Cosentino

She is survived by her four children Peter (Georgette) of Greenwich CT, Nick (Jeanine) of Yorktown NY, Rosemarie Cosentino Mutarelli (Vincent) of Yorktown Heights NY, Domenick DJ Cosentino (Suzanne) of Valhalla NY; nine grandchildren Michael Cosentino, Diane Cosentino Salvo, Denise Cosentino Lotko, predeceased Stephen Cosentino, Marina Cosentino, Kristen Mutarelli Purcaro, Alyssa Mutarelli Litwin, Jason Cosentino and Thomas Cosentino; seven great grandchildren Katie and Brian Cosentino, Matthew and Samantha Salvo, Richard Lotko lll, Emma Lotko, Lia Litwin

Maria was born in Basilicata Italy to the late Nicola and Maria Rosa (Forastiero) Sarubbi They married in 1948 and had two sons before immigrating to America in 1952 where they lived in Yonkers. They had a daughter and another son and in 1975 moved to Pleasantville Maria loved spending time gardening either with her extensive vegetable garden or the abundance of flowers surrounding their home She enjoyed sewing and crocheting often making clothes and blankets for every new family member 

Family and friends will remember Maria’s life from 4-8 pm on Wednesday September 11 at Pleasant Manor Funeral Home 575 Columbus Avenue Thornwood, New York. Her funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday September 12 at Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville NY. Entombment will be at Ferncliff Cemetery Hartsdale, New York.
