Mary Ann (San Marco) Alagno

Mary Ann Alagno of Thornwood passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in her 95th year.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank, of 74 years; four children: Louis Alagno (Jeanne), Carol Ann Lee, Marilyn Plummer (Timothy), and Frank Alagno, Jr. (Judith); four grandchildren: Louis Alagno, Joe Lee, Meredith Fasano (Frank), John Lee (Andrew); and two great grandchildren: Sofia and Frank Fasano, and many loving nieces and nephews. Mary Ann enjoyed a long career with A.T. &T., and made many generous contributions through her years of volunteerism in the church, community, Rosary Hill Home, the American Legion, the Italian-American Club, the Mt. Pleasant Seniors, and received the Westchester County Senior of the Year Award in 2017. She deeply loved her family, and enjoyed many hobbies including baking and sewing, and activities in the community. She could simply light up a room with her love of life and laughter, and that energy and joy will live in our hearts forever. 

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mary Ann at Holy Innocent's Church in Pleasantville on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM.  Mary Ann will be laid to rest in her family plot at White Plains Rural Cemetery in White Plains after the funeral mass.
