Michael F. Spaziante Sr.

Michael F. Spaziante Sr. of Valhalla passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 in his 99th year after a brief illness.  Michael was born in the Bronx, New York on June 28, 1925 to proud parents Frank and Angelina Spaziante.  In 1949 Mike married the love of his life Gina D'Addario.  That union would produce four loving children:  Michael (deceased) (Deborah), Robert (deceased) (Claudia), Gerard (Anna) and Angela (Roman).  He would also become the cherished grandfather of James (Andrea), Jason (Sarah), Gerard (Nicole), Gianna (Nicholas), Michael, Ariana, Alexander (Victoria) and Max.  Michael was also blessed to be a great grandfather to Luca, Ava, Sienna Spaziante; Elle, Camden, Leo DiPaolo and Isabella, Kaylee and Jet Spaziante.   Professionally, Mike was a talented and well-respected electrician with IBEW 501.  He also served our country proudly in The United States Navy as a carpenter's mate second class: US Navy Seabees.  Aside from being with his loving family Michael enjoyed boating, fishing and traveling in the family motorhome.  

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Michael at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 11:30 AM.  Michael will be laid to rest in his family crypt at The Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale following the funeral mass.
