Pasquale Anthony Mossa, 86, of Pleasantville, New York, passed away on April 12, 2026. He was born on November 10, 1939, in New York, NY. Pasquale was the cherished son of Concetta and Giovanni Mossa. At 15 years old, he stepped into the role of “man of the house,” shaping the strength and determination that would guide him throughout his life. Pasquale went on to build a successful business in the Bronx and then with his brother in Stamford, CT.
As a young man, Pasquale traveled to Sannicandro, Italy, where he met the love of his life, Isabella. Their love story blossomed in the very place where they would marry and honeymoon, creating memories that remained among his most treasured. Together, they built a beautiful life rooted in family, tradition, and deep affection.
Pasquale was a true handyman; he found joy in gardening, tending to his home, playing cards, and spending time with those he loved. And of course, Pasquale was loud in the best possible way—full of life, full of opinions, full of joy.
Pasquale is survived by his beloved wife, Isabella; his daughters Joanna and her husband Peter, and Judith and her husband David; his five adored grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Elena, Sarah, and Emma; and his loving brother, Jack, and his niece Tina. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Pasquale at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Pasquale will be laid to rest in his family plot at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne following the funeral mass.
