Randolph Scott

Randolph Scott of Elmsford and Cave Westmoreland, Jamaica passed away in his 72nd year on Tuesday evening, March 7, 2023 in New York City.  Randolph Agustus Scott, son of the late Lester and Henrietta Brown-Scott, was born on July 17, 1950 in Darlington, Westmoreland, Jamaica, West Indies.  He was the ninth of eleven children.  He attended Jerret All-Age School and graduated. He continued his education by attending trade school, becoming a construction worker/foreman and worked in that trade for many years until he migrated to the United States in 2004.  While in the United States, he worked at Metropolis Country Club, Westchester, New York, until he became ill.  

Randolph was blessed with three children, daughter, Annmarie Scott-Reid, sons, Collington Scott and Rashan Scott; five grandchildren, Samuel Rebien, Jayanna McCoo, Kayanna McCoo, Remain Scott and Rashaun Scott, two great-grandchildren, Lawson Samuels and Keller Samuels.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sadly, on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, while at Mount Sinai in Manhattan, New York, Randolph Agustus Scott departed this earthly life, he leaves to cherish fond memories/ 

Randolph is survived by:  his loving wife, Claudette Scott; siblings, Veronica Scott Rhoden, Imogene Scott-Brown, Slyvia Scott-Brown, Harry Scott (predeceased), Delisee Scott (predeceased), Jeremiah Scott (predeceased), Myrtle Almina, Scott-Millwood (predeceased), Simon Geroge Scott and Gloria Scott (predeceased); son-in-law, Christopher Reid; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. 

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue Thornwood, New York 10594 on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 11:00 - 12:45 PM.  Mr. Scott will be laid to rest in his family plot at The Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, New York following the services on Sunday at 1:00 PM.
