Rita (Verni) Coppolecchia

Rita Coppolecchia passed away peacefully in her 88th year on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at her residence in Mystic, Connecticut.  For the last 65 years she is survived by the love of her life Peter Coppolecchia.  Loving mother of Pat (Laurette) and Lia (Michael).  Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Peter, Lianna, Steven and Kevin and great grand-mother of Carter, Loreli and Izzy.  She is also survived by her brother Vito and predeceased by Domenica.  Throughout her life, Rita excelled equally as a loving mother and a real estate investor in the tristate area.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Rita at Holy Rosary Church on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11:30 AM.  Entombment in her family crypt at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York will follow after the mass.
