Rosalie Assunta Allara Anderson, born on August 15th, 1932 peacefully left this world on January 7th, 2024 joining her beloved husband Charles Edward Anderson in eternal rest. Along with her husband, she reunites with many of her loving Anderson and Allara family members in Heaven.
Rosalie was a devoted mother to Charles Anderson (Michelle Anderson), Theodore Anderson (Maria Bartolotta-Anderson), and Susan Anderson-Rippo (Anthony Rippo). Her legacy extends through her five grandchildren: Charelle Anderson Grgas (Boris Grgas), Chas Anderson (Alexa Anderson), Lauren Rippo Jablonski (Matthew Jablonski), Alexandra Anderson, and Christina Rippo Lens (Corey Lens). She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren; John Charles Grgas, Robert Alexander Grgas, and Ella Mae Anderson.
Rosalie was an accomplished hair colorist and stylist in some of New York’s finest salons. Her career spanned upwards of 50 years and she took immense pride in her work, with the client list to show. She dedicated her career to helping others look and feel their best. Rosalie’s warmth and genuine care for her clients turned each appointment into a cherished experience. Whether it was a subtle change or a bold transformation, she had an innate ability to bring out the beauty in everyone.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rosalie was a pillar of strength for her family and friends. Her resilience left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her passion for life and dedication to her craft continued well into her golden years, setting an inspiring example for those around her.
Rosalie found boundless joy in family gatherings and cherished moments spent with her loved ones. Her love for Florida added sunshine to her life and her memory will forever warm our hearts.
Rosalie will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. May she rest in peace.
Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM for visitation. Rosalie will be laid to rest in her family plot at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx, New York on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
