Rose Anne Masiello, age 80, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, NY. Rose Anne is survived by her two adult children, Frank Angelo Masiello and Jennifer Masiello-Sama, four grandchildren, Tyler, Joshua, Christian and Ella, son in-law Alan Sama and daughter in-law Cheryl Hsiao.
Rose Anne was married for 56 years to her soulmate, Frank, who preceded her in death.
Born on September 23, 1943, in New York, NY, Rose Anne was a lifelong New Yorker and a long-time resident of Scarsdale, NY. Rose Anne grew up in the Bronx, NY along with parents, John and Madeline DePaulo , sister Louise and brothers John, Angelo, Frank and Daniel. Rose Anne was active in the school district, community, and Catholic church.
Rose Anne attended Mercy College and worked in marketing research and the banking fields for over forty years.
Rose Anne was a very active person but never too busy to share her love of life and laughter with those around her. People were most drawn to her good energy, warm personality, and sharp wit. Above all, she loved her family; seeing them was the highlight of her day.
Among the countless blessings that adorned Rose Anne's life, none shone brighter than her role as a grandmother. To her four beloved grandchildren, she was not only a source of love and support but also a beacon of wisdom and guidance.
She was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed.
Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Rose Anne at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 8 Carman Road - Scarsdale, New York 10583 on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 9:30 AM. Rose Anne will be laid to rest in her family crypt alongside her beloved Frank at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York following the funeral mass.
