Victoria (Tine) Staar

Vicky Staar passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a lifetime of warm memories and cherished friendships. In her retirement, Vicky made her home in Clearwater, Florida, where she found great joy living near the beach. She loved the warmth of the sun, the feel of the sand beneath her feet, and the peaceful beauty of the ocean.

Vicky had a bright spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. She was quick to laugh and had a special gift for striking up conversations and making new friends wherever she went. Her kindness and warmth touched many lives.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Paul; her sisters, Diana and Nicole; and her mother, Elsa. She also leaves behind countless friends and extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Vicky’s love of life, laughter, and sunshine will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM for visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Vicky at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM.  Vicky will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Lawrence who predeceased her in March of 1998 in their family plot at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
